Team PICOTY: 7th at the Normandy Channel Race

This year, the Normandy Channel Race was an eventful and restless race due to changing wind conditions.

During the 975 miles of the race, Team Picoty managed to stay close to the leading team and finished a mere two hours behind, after 6 days and 6 nights.

For the first race of the year, according to the skipper Jean Christophe CASO, it’s a rather positive result with a margin for progress. Jean Christophe CASO is back in Lorient and continue his training for its ultimate objective: La Route du Rhum in November 2014. In the mean time, The ship will be attending the SNSM record and its 1000 miles qualifying for the Route du Rhum
